PCS Compliance

Manage your corrosion program across the enterprise in a single, integrated system.

  • Manages multiple facility types and surveys
  • Schedules routine field data collection
  • Prepares operators for regulatory audits

Corrosion and operations managers are overwhelmed by the amount, variety, and sources of data they must capture and analyze to comply with state and federal regulations. In addition, they must maintain the operational integrity of their pipeline infrastructure while staying within budget.  PCS reliably captures corrosion and inspection data, analyzes it, and produces relevant graphs and reports for: audit support, survey and maintenance planning, and operational troubleshooting.  PCS is also an integral part of any Distribution Integrity Management Plan (DIMP) to comply with PHMSA’s 74 FR 63906 rule.

Relational Database Software: SQL Server 2014 SP2 (preferred) or SQL Server 2008 R2

Notes:

• Microsoft .NET Framework: If the target computer does not have Microsoft .NET Framework v4.6.1 installed, the PCS installation automatically installs it for you. This feature requires an active Internet connection to complete the installation of .NET Framework v4.6.1.

• Microsoft SQL Server: The preferred version of SQL Server for the PCS database is a 64-bit version of Microsoft SQL Server 2014 SP1. Only limited testing has been completed for SQL Server 2008R2 and PCS 1.12 and the use of replication is not support for this SQL/PCS combination. Hosting the PCS database on a shared SQL server may result in reduced performance.
