American Innovations Announces Sale of Bass Engineering subsidiary to MESA

American Innovations will become 100% focused on delivering innovative technology solutions.

Jan 4, 2022, Austin, TX – American Innovations, Ltd. (AI), headquartered in Austin, Texas, today announced the sale of Bass Engineering, headquartered in Longview, Texas, to MESA, headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, effective January 1, 2022.

American Innovations acquired Bass Engineering in 2005. The two companies have worked closely together to develop industry leading products and provide world class field services to the cathodic protection industry. MESA will build upon Bass Engineering’s solid foundation of safe, professional, and high-quality field services. As part of this transaction, AI’s Integrity Management division will become part of MESA’s Integrity group. Bass President Clay Brelsford will continue in his role under the new ownership.
