The integration enables CartoPac users to take advantage of Skadi Tilt Compensation™ and the Skadi Smart Handle™—including Invisible Range Pole™ and Extensible Virtual Range Pole™ operating modes—directly within CartoPac workflows. These capabilities allow field teams to safely collect accurate data in challenging conditions without perfect pole position, or without physical range poles, while maintaining the structure, validation, and auditability CartoPac provides.
With this release, CartoPac automatically captures and stores Skadi-specific metadata including tilt angles, antenna height, and Smart Handle status information. The system also performs automatic validation of Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) fix requirements and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) calibration status before advanced data collection begins, ensuring that only high-quality, verifiable data is recorded.
