Event Participation Terms and Safety Acknowledgment
To attend AI World Users Group on November 1-5, 2026 in Austin, Texas, you must review and agree to the following terms.
The event may include meetings, meals, happy hours where alcohol may be served, chartered bus transportation, and a guided or hands-on tour of American Innovations facility.
Participation Is Voluntary
I understand that my participation in the event and any related activities is voluntary. I am responsible for deciding whether I am comfortable and able to participate.
Safety and Event Rules
I agree to follow all event rules, posted signs, safety instructions, and directions from event staff, hotel staff, transportation providers, facility personnel, security, or other authorized representatives.
I understand that I may be denied participation in an activity or removed from the event if I do not follow these requirements or if event staff believe it is appropriate for safety reasons.
Facility Tour and Transportation
I understand that the event may include chartered bus transportation and a tour of American Innovations. I acknowledge that these activities may involve ordinary risks, including boarding or exiting vehicles, walking through a facility, uneven surfaces, stairs, equipment, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and other conditions that require attention and care.
Alcohol
I understand that alcohol may be available during certain event functions. I agree that I will only consume alcohol if I am legally permitted to do so and that I am responsible for drinking responsibly.
I understand that event staff, hotel staff, or vendors may refuse alcohol service, deny participation in an activity, or help arrange alternate transportation if they believe it is appropriate for safety reasons.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that attending and participating in the event may involve risks, including slips, trips, falls, illness, injury, property damage, transportation-related incidents, and risks associated with food, beverages, alcohol, hotel facilities, and facility tours.
I knowingly and voluntarily accept these risks.
RELEASE OF NEGLIGENCE CLAIMS
“Released Parties” as used herein means American Innovations; the Event venue, including Omni® Austin Hotel Downtown; the charter bus provider; Event sponsors; exhibitors; speakers; presenters; vendors; contractors; volunteers; Event organizers; Event staff; and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, officers, directors, managers, members, shareholders, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, CAUSES OF ACTION, LOSSES, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, COSTS, OR EXPENSES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO MY ATTENDANCE AT, PARTICIPATION IN, OR TRAVEL TO OR FROM THE EVENT.
THIS RELEASE EXPRESSLY INCLUDES CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR CAUSED, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASED PARTY.
I UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT I AM RELEASING CLAIMS THAT I MAY OTHERWISE HAVE AGAINST A RELEASED PARTY FOR ITS OWN ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE.
This release does not apply to claims that cannot legally be released as a matter of applicable law.
Medical Assistance
In an emergency, I authorize event staff to seek medical assistance for me if they believe it is needed. I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs.
Personal Belongings
I am responsible for my own personal belongings. The event organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items, except where the law provides otherwise.
Photos and Recordings
I understand that photos, videos, or recordings may be taken during the event. I allow American Innovations to use my name, image, likeness, voice, and appearance in event-related, internal, marketing, or promotional materials without compensation.
If I do not want to be photographed or recorded, I will notify event staff at [email protected].

YOU MUST REVIEW AND AGREE TO THE EVENT PARTICIPATION TERMS AND SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO ATTEND THIS EVENT. BY CHECKING THE CONSENT BOX AND REGISTERING ON WHOVA, YOU ARE AGREEING TO THE TERMS, INCLUDING THE RELEASE OF CERTAIN LEGAL CLAIMS.
