Bass Engineering, a subsidiary of American Innovations, offers a variety of cathodic protection (CP) services.

Bass was founded in Longview, Texas in August of 1967. Established to serve the cathodic protection (CP) needs of the Ark-La-Tex area, the company soon expanded and was incorporated in 1972 with majority interest transferred to American Innovations (Austin, Texas) in 2005.

Specific service areas include:

Engineering/Technical Services: The engineering/technical staff, designs, evaluates, and manages CP systems utilizing a number of specialized techniques including native state pipe-to-soil (P/S) potential surveys, current requirement tests, electrical isolation testing, soil resistance measurements, and interference testing among others.

Installation Services: Bass owns and maintains a modern fleet of specialized heavy equipment and uses permanent, trained and experienced crews for CP construction.

Materials: Bass sells a wide variety of CP materials at the home office in Longview Texas and via the Bass Materials website.

A diverse client list includes E&P operators, midstream and transmission pipelines, distribution piping, petro-chemical plants, electric power generation plants, pulp and paper mills, and municipalities.
