New Bullhorn® RM4020 Monitors Cathodic Protection Assets Reliably and Economically
RM4020 is lowest-cost, satellite-based remote monitoring product on the market
AUSTIN, TX, December 8th, 2010 – American Innovations, a leading provider of products and services for pipeline industries, announces the release of the Bullhorn RM4020, a remote monitoring product designed specifically for Cathodic Protection (CP) applications.
The RM4020 monitors oil and gas assets in by utilizing a satellite network for reliable, global communications. The unit is capable of measuring rectifier volts and amps, pipe-to-soil potential, test points, critical bonds and more. It uses the Bullhorn Asset Tracker system (BAT™) to communicate asset status by email, voice and/or text notifications, which eliminates remote site visits.
The RM4020 features 4 analog inputs and 2 digital channels, built-in surge protection on the I/O channels and a lightning arrestor on the satellite antenna for increased product reliability. The unit is solar powered with battery backup and is configurable locally via USB. Easy access to I/O, power, and antenna connections simplify field installation of the new unit.
