American Innovations Introduces New Bullhorn® Wireless Remote Monitoring Technology:
Wireless Sensor Unit Ideal for Agricultural, Oil & Gas Equipment
AUSTIN, TX, February 9th, 2010 – American Innovations’ Field Data Division (FDD), a leading provider of products and services for pipeline industries, announced the addition of the APM4AM-SAT WS (Wireless Sensor) to the Bullhorn Remote Monitoring product line. This unit is ideal for monitoring equipment associated with the maintenance of agricultural and oil & gas assets by utilizing wireless technology and satellite communications.
Loss of temperature, pressure, power, ventilation or other potential failures can result in a rapid degradation of assets. The APM4AM-SAT WS provides constant monitoring of equipment and a timely response to alarm conditions. The unit provides email, voice, fax, and/or pager notifications to communicate that a preset alarm condition has occurred, allowing the potential problem to be addressed efficiently. Notifications are sent to users via the Inmarset satellite network, which provides low latency communication in regions where cellular coverage is not available.
Each APM4AM-SAT WS supports up to seven wireless sensor transmitters that can be installed up to 300 yards away from the main unit. Wireless sensors provide an environmentally rugged solution and a lower cost of installation than wired alternatives.

The unit uses reliable satellite technology to communicate data and alarms to a personal webpage on the Bullhorn Asset Tracker (BAT) online system. BAT allows for immediate, in-depth visibility of unit status and alarms upon secure login.
