American Innovations Releases 4.3.2 Software for Allegro Field Data PC™: Improved Usability for Industry-leading Field Data Computer
Austin, TX: August 3, 2011 – On July 27th, American Innovations released Version 4.3.2 software for Allegro Field Data PC™. This release features over 20 enhancements for the rugged, hand-held data collection device.
By combining instrumentation and pipeline-specific software into one integrated tool, the Allegro improves both productivity and accuracy of data collection. Corrosion technicians collect Cathodic Protection (CP) data, GPS coordinates and other pipeline field data, and transport and download this information directly into a data management system, such as the Pipeline Compliance System (PCS™) software. This information allows companies to meet regulatory requirements and efficiently manage their assets.
The 4.3.2 release includes the following new features:
• Over 20 shortcut keys have been added for Close Interval Survey/DCVG, Annual/Potential Survey, AiDVM and GPS functions to enhance operation when using the Allegro MX with the touch screen disabled.
• Close Interval Survey (CeCI)/DCVG: HiLo fall back has increased from 10s to 60s.
• Annual/Periodic Survey: Error messages for invalid time settings in On/Off tab with suggested settings
• AiDVM: Now supports a minimum range of 20mV
• GPS Status: Automatic restart after power off/resume
