Bass Engineering, a subsidiary of American Innovations, offers a variety of cathodic protection (CP) services including design, installation, maintenance and annual inspections of CP systems, close interval surveys, failure analysis, material sales, and environmental surveys to oil and gas pipelines and producers, petrochemical plants, electric power generation plants, pulp and paper mills and municipalities.

Bass provides:

Materials: Bass sells a wide variety of CP materials via the Bass Materials website.

Installation Services: Bass owns and maintains a modern fleet of specialized heavy equipment and uses permanent, trained and experienced crews for CP construction.

Engineering Services: The engineering staff evaluates, designs, and manages CP systems utilizing native state pipe-to-soil (P/S) potential surveys, current requirement tests, soil resistivity measurements, interference testing, and final P/S potential measurements.

Surveys: Trained and experienced crews are available to conduct close interval surveys on pipelines with an emphasis on providing quality pipe-to-soil (P/S) potential data. For critical close interval surveys, industry practices vary. However at Bass Engineering, every close interval P/S reading is verified. Only stabilized readings are entered into field data recorders, ensuring clean, accurate, and useful data.
